traffic bollard activation gadget
The box on a stick receives a signal from buses to allow the bollard to retract into the road. The bollard pops up again after the bus has passed over it. This fools car drivers who follow behind the buses and have the bollard rammed into their engine compartments resulting in sump failure. It's fun until someone gets hurt.
